We serve the New Orleans & Metairie areas with a focus in early intervention (0-4.11 years). We provide holistic therapeutic services in-home, in your child’s school or daycare, and out in the community to support your little one from every angle.

Welcome to Fun In Function!
At Fun In Function, we start with what we believe to be the most important step in the therapeutic process: building a strong rapport with your child and your family.
We provide holistic, strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming therapy services in the comfort of your child’s home, academic or community setting(s). We find meaning in supporting your child in the environments where struggles are most evident, which can include anything from home to more challenging environments such as the hair salon, school or grocery store. We firmly believe in transparency, teamwork and clear communication with our families.
We are here to support your child’s FUNCTION while having FUN doing it!
Meet the Founder
Taylor Cotten, OTR/L
Owner, Occupational Therapist
In 2023, Taylor saw a need for holistic therapeutic support in her local community and started Fun In Function, LLC. She provides mobile therapy services where her clients (and their families) need support the most - in home, in school, and/or out in the community.
Taylor has experience with a variety of diagnoses and needs and is certified in DIR Floortime and trained in the Denver STAR Institute Sensory Processing Frame of Reference.

If you choose to proceed with our services, we will e-mail you a payment agreement form to sign & fax request OT orders from your child’s pediatrician.
We will also determine if your family would like a superbill for services.

Once we receive all the necessary paperwork, we will schedule our initial evaluation at the location of choice. We will walk you through what that will look like for both you and your child!

Payment & Billing
At this time, Fun In Function only accepts private pay options via cash, check, Venmo or Ivy Pay - this includes debit, credit, HSA/FSA cards! At your request, we can provide a monthly superbill for you to submit to your insurance for partial or full reimbursement - we strongly advise you to reach out to your insurance prior to initiation of services to determine your potential co-pay costs.
